Michelle earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University and is currently pursuing licensure in Clinical Social Work. Michelle is passionate about working with children, teens, and families, and she has experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and mood disorders. Her specialties include childhood and adolescent therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, body-image, self-esteem, and school-related challenges. 

When working with children and teens, Michelle integrates Play Therapy techniques and Art Therapy skills to encourage emotional expression and facilitate healing. She also draws on Expressive Arts Therapy to provide creative outlets that support emotional well-being. Michelle utilizes various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help clients develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. She also incorporates mindfulness based techniques to reduce stress and promote self-awareness. 

Michelle is dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their full potential by meeting them where they are on their mental health journey. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Her treatment approach is collaborative, client-centered, empathetic, and strength-based. Michelle recognizes that each client is the expert in their own life and is committed to offering guidance and support as they navigate life’s ups and downs.
