
Alyssa Platt, LCSW
Alyssa earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Dakota and is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope. She takes a personalized, client-centered approach, meeting each person where they are and drawing from a variety of evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness practices, solution-focused techniques, strength-based approaches, and trauma-informed care.
Alyssa has specialized experience working with trauma and PTSD, women’s issues, family challenges, cultural and ethical concerns, self-harm, and the LGBTQ+ community. She strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Through her compassionate and collaborative style, Alyssa empowers individuals to deepen their self-understanding, regulate emotions, heal from past wounds, and build confidence in facing life’s challenges.
