Meet Alexis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. She is passionate about helping individuals and families not only heal from their past, but to also become the best versions of themselves. Alexis specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families who are navigating challenges such as trauma, adoption-related experiences, foster care, domestic violence, abuse, depression, anxiety, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. As a trauma-informed therapist, Alexis takes an individualized and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from a wide range of evidence-based techniques. Alexis is trained in EMDR, play therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, and more. She believes that a strong, trusting connection is the foundation for meaningful change, and she strives to create a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and truly seen.
