Camelia Francisc, LMHC, Clinical Supervisor
I'm a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a minor in Addiction Studies. I chose this path after losing a dear family member to an overdose. Initially, I was pursuing a career in neurosurgery, but during my second year of college, I felt a deep pull toward psychology and shifted my focus. For the past nine years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping clients navigate struggles related to addiction, relationships, and mental health—always within a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space.
Much of my professional journey has been in leadership roles, which has given me unique insight into the lives of high-achieving individuals. I work especially well with those trying to balance demanding careers, family responsibilities, and the pursuit of personal fulfillment.
As a therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and groups, and I bring a multicultural, multidimensional, and integrative approach to every session. I'm also trained in EMDR, and I've had the privilege of helping many clients heal from trauma and PTSD through this powerful modality.
My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in collaboration. I see therapy as a partnership—together, we identify your goals, clarify what's standing in the way, and develop a clear, tailored plan to help you move forward. I encourage self-discovery, personal growth, and accountability, all with the aim of helping you become more aligned with the life you truly want to live.
Do you ever feel that life has taken you down roads you never intended to travel? Do you feel disconnected from the path you once dreamed of following? If so, I’m here to help you reconnect—with yourself, your values, and the direction that feels most authentic to you.
