Carla Benefield

 

Carla is a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in substance abuse, male sexual abuse and rape victims, veterans, behavioral, and mental health. Carla holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southeastern University, graduating with honors, and a Master's in Social Work from FGCU.

Carla has extensive experience in residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment, mental health, behavioral outpatient services, equine-assisted therapy, and Christian counseling, Carla offers a holistic approach to healing and growth.

She has a belief in the inherent strength of every individual, Carla employs a strength-based approach, fostering empathy, therapeutic rapport, and a supportive environment for clients to navigate their challenges. From the age of ten and up, Carla provides personalized care, understanding the unique needs of each individual and tailoring treatment and interventions accordingly.
